What is Camp‑O‑Rama?

The Delaware Valley Region Camp-O-Rama is where groups of teen young men join together for a weekend of team-based challenges. They also get encouragement and training according to biblical Christian principles. Our goal is building godly men!

Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

2026 speaker: Michael English

Speaker: Michael English
Everyone knows him as the muddy guy!

Michael English has dedicated nearly 30 years to Christian Service Brigade. For the past decade, he has been a recognizable presence at Camp-O-Rama, known for his distinctive hat and the challenging obstacle courses he designs. This year, Michael will also share a Biblical perspective on the CSB point of valor, COURAGE, drawing examples from his military experience.

Michael earned the title "Captain" twice: first, during his service with the United States Marine Corps, and again as a CSB battalion leader. He also earned CSB's Herald of Christ for Men while a battalion captain, stating that "the activities and requirements for the achievement are exactly the things that a man should be doing throughout his life."

Recently retired from his engineering career at a local pharmaceutical company, Michael resides in Lansdale, PA, with his wife of 38 years. They frequently travel to visit their three children and twelve grandchildren across the country.
